Marilyn, I concur, and they both did that transition SO well, imho! Stephen & writers have brilliant insight, and their prowess for skewering fools rivals Jon in his last years on The Daily Show. Making news funny and relevant, especially when it’s dark, is amazing. (I won’t see the rest of the show until they post it on YouTube tomorrow.)
This was Antifa, wish these people had the anger and knowledge that they do now when there was all that rioting, burning, stealing and killing in the Democratic cities just a few months ago. But the Liberal news closed their eyes and turned their heads. Colbert should stick to comedy. Or better yet stay home.
